Encore un artiste dont je suis fan et dont je vous parle régulièrement dans ces lignes. Le concept d’Andrew Degraff est simple, et pourtant génial : retracer les parcours des héros d’un film à la manière d’un cartographe. Un travail minutieux et précis, pour un résultat très fun. Il expose en ce moment des pièces géniales à la Gallery 1988 jusqu’au 19 avril. Des pièces splendides dont voici un petit aperçu. Au programme, les cartes du Seigneur des Anneaux, de Jaws, de Shinning, Princess Bride, Wrath of Khan, j’en passe et des meilleures. Régalez-vous !
Another artist I’m really fond of. Andrew Degraff‘s concept simple but yet truly awesome : retrace movie heroes’ journeys through very detailed maps, just like a cartographer would do. He’s currently exposed at Gallery 1988 (until the 19th of april). We’ve got gorgeous pieces here, from Jaws to Shinning, from Princess Bride to the Lord of the Rings and the Wrath of Khan and many more. Enjoy !
