Alexey Egorov works in a publishing house, and you can feel it by the skill with which he designs a sheet and how color works exactly. His images are integral, his lines are musical. And although the artist himself appreciates his talent very modestly, we understand that we are looking at the works of a true master.
His talent flourishes where the earth is bound by ice and frost for most of the year, and where diamonds ripen in the depths. Perhaps his palette is so untouched by these frosts and his composition is so perfect. All the superfluous, especially in the last works, has disappeared, only a laconic graphic design remains, in which the futuristic images germinate allusions to the present and are filled with the mysterious mysticism of the Siberian ethnic group.
And this is what is fascinating about Alexey’s work, her cultural mix influenced by the work of artists such as HR Giger or Zdzisław Beksiński. One is completely transported into a futuristic universe that is absolutely unique.
