From the Bat to the Beetle
Francesco Francavilla is definitely one of the more interesting artists in the modern comics industry. His dark style, appealing to the 50’s Noir universe, is always a fresh and welcoming view on comics covers. From Marvel to DC, to Archie Comics, Dark Horse, or Dynamite Comics, he worked with the best publishers, but is also the co-creator of the excellent Black Beetle. Francavilla, in a few years, also became a regular member of the Mondo artists team.
After an art show dedicated to some of his best comics covers in the Austin gallery (you can check the review of the premiere here), a first selection of the exposed limited screen prints will be available online today on Mondo.
