Nous y sommes ! Le second print officiel et exclusif dédié à Batman dans le cadre de l’association Geek-Art et French Paper Art Club, pour notre projet dédié aux 75 ans de Batman : One Year of Batman. Nous présentons, après l’exceptionnel travail de Tim Doyle le mois dernier, une oeuvre non moins grandiose : Batman Iron Age, par Arik Roper. Cet artiste New Yorkais, au style reconnaissable entre tous, a développé un univers visuel mêlant fantasy old school, horreur et imagerie psychédélique. Un régal pour les yeux. Il nous propose ici une version Age de Fer du Chevalier Noir, avec un petit côté “Cité Cyclopéenne” en arrière plan, qui ne déplairait sans doute pas aux fans de Conan le Barbare. Une vraie beauté qui vous attend sur le site French Paper Art Club, dans la section “One Year of Batman”. Une sérigraphie 5 couleurs ultra limitée de 70 exemplaires, format 18×24 pouces (le format de print classique des USA, environ 45x61cm). Et c’est encore une fois un véritable honneur et un plaisir que de faire travailler un artiste si talentueux pour ce projet monté de toute pièce par votre serviteur et French Paper Art Club, en collaboration officielle avec Warner et DC Comics ! Here we are ! The new exclusive and official screen print dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Batman, for the joint operation between Geek-Art and French Paper Art Club : One Year of Batman. After the glorious work of Tim Doyle, released last month, here comes the next part of our project. We are very proud and happy to reveal you Batman – Iron Age, by the talented Arik Roper. Arik is a New York based artist with a unique style, who developed a gorgeous universe of old school fantasy, horror and psychedelic vision. For this project he created a Dark Knight coming straight from the pre-historic times. Note the “Cyclopean like” city in the background, that any Conan the Barbarian fan will probably enjoy… A real beauty that awaits you on the dedicated “One Year of Batman” section of French Paper Art Club. A 5 colors screen print, limited to 70 pieces. 18×24. We are really happy to feed this official DC / Warner project with such an amazing artist. The artworks are very limited though… You should hurry before the unavoidable “sold out” !
