Home – An Art Show About Cult Places in Horror Movies by Jason Edmiston and Ken Taylor for Mondo
I know I’m a bit late on this (the show took place at the Mondo gallery during the Mondo Con 2016 last October the 22nd), but I just couldn’t pass on such an incredible event. A duo show by Canadian Jason Edmiston and Australian Ken Taylor is simply something Geek-Art couldn’t miss, even late ! And what a great subject : the cult houses and places of horror movies.
Both artists indeed worked on famous horror movies such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Poltergeist, Amityville, Psycho, or Night of the Living Dead… An dthe result is amazing. This art show is all about original pieces, so you’d better have a strong wallet here, and it’s really interesting to see Geek-Artists such as Jason Edmiston take a step in modern art, with the equivalent prices !
You’ll see that all the artworks have something in common : a touch of red in a black and white universe, tribute to the gallons of blood shed in those flicks.
A really interesting art show, with beautiful artworks from geat artists. You can admire them for free, for those who can afford to hang those marvels on their walls, you can invest right here.
