Birth of a Legend

At last ! Geek-Art and French Paper Art Club begin the year 2016 with a brand new official DC Comics screen print designed by Nicolas Delort. After Batman last year, Nicolas took on another DC icon, with a beautifully unexpected design of Athena blessing the newborn who will become Wonder Woman. This splendid print, officially licensed, will be available online on French Paper Art Club this wednesday the 13th at around 6PM French hour and will be available in 3 versions : regular (2 colors, 200ex), variant (3 colors, 120 ex), and a splendid Plexiglass edition (10 ex).

A few words by Nicolas Delort : “For Wonder Woman, I went back to the origins of the character, during Ancient Greece. I imagined the Queen Hippolyta turning to Athena after the burning of her temple, to ask her to give her godly powers to her newborn Diana, who will later become Wonder Woman. I tried to express the almighty powers of the goddess, who puts all her hopes in this baby.”
