Japanese Nostalgia
French artist Pierre-Marie Postel founded Paiheme Studio to go back to his passions: drawing and making illustrations, all of this with his love for Japanese universes. He developed an incredible vintage touch and add to this his inspirations from the mangas and the design from the 90s to create amazing artworks.
His imagination comes from all his trips but also from famous mangaka such as Katsuhiro Otomo or Tsutomo Nihei. Based on this, Pierre-Marie manages to create his own universes. We can discover an amusement park based on giant old robots that are now attractions. But what I really love is how he uses the black and white in his Neo Tokyo illustration.
