Pop Pocket
Toy Zone, as a toy specialist website, asked a real, important question. Why don’t we have any pop culture related Polly Pocket toys ? Lego did it. Playmobil did it. So why don’t we have any Star Wars Polly Pocket, or Back to the Future Polly Pocket yet ?
For those who don’t know, back in the days Polly Pocket was THE hot toy for girls. While boys played with Mighty Max, girls had Polly Pockets. Small boxes to be taken everywhere, containing adorable and detailed cool doll houses with accessories and characters to play with. Mighty Max didn’t make it after the 2000’s, but you can still find Polly Pocket toys in every supermarket. So why don’t we have any licensed doll house ?
Toyzone decided they had enough, and choose 6 licenses to make Polly Pockets houses with : Stranger Things, Friends, the Shining, the Lord of the Rings, the Simpsons and the Royal Tenenbaums. They then asked designer Jan Koudela to create 3D designs of what Polly Pocket houses from those universes would look like, et voilà ! Those are things of glory.
