The colors out of space
Brock Hofer is an illustrator living on the East Coast of Canada who, as he explains on his blog, decided to take another path than drawing lighthouses and boats. Indeed, when we look at his portfolio, we are rather embarked in a horrific gore and fluorescent delirium, far from whales and Canadian beaches! Brock’s style is uncompromising, violent, powerful. It drips in all directions, it explodes, imagine a mix between The Thing, The Fly, and the fluorescent colors of the greatest Dance Club of the 80s. Each piece is remarkable for its details, for the care given to these tentacular and slimy monsters, to these space demons, to these man-eating monsters. It’s great, we love it, we share it!
