Casimir may have a name that will speak to many French people (or at least to old French people!), but he lives far from France: Casimir is indeed a Taiwanese artist living in Taipei. His artistic style is largely inspired by the art nouveau of Alfons Mucha, to which he adds vibrant and psychedelic colors straight out of the seventies! No doubt about his sources of inspiration: women. As he explains on his portfolio, Casimir is passionate about female curves and erotic postures. Nevertheless, do not believe that his universe stops there. If some of his pieces could be classified as “NSFW”, Casimir’s works are more odes to female power than anything else.
He admits that he has a particular trait for the eyes of his heroines. Looks that want to tell a story, that announce a mystery, that resonate at a very intimate level. Casimir offers us, notably through his series of tarot cards, quasi-divine and vertiginous representations of the goddesses of mythology, all served by an often fascinating mix-media process.
We let you dive into the fascinating erotico-esoteric universe of this unusual artist, do not hesitate to follow him on his social networks!
