Beautiful Horror
Matthew G. Lewis, a.k.a. Lost Keep, is an artist with a passion for the bizarre, horror, and classical painting (in which the bizarre and horror are often found!). His unique style transcends the macabre and gives it a breathtaking scriptural beauty. Whether in execution or staging, we find ourselves drawn into his work and plunged into a magnificent hell, populated by monsters, organs, esotericism, mysticism and symbolism. But don’t think that Lost Keep is lost in its own labyrinth: each composition is prepared, deliberate, organized, and often inspired by works or artists, like Goya, who inspired the work you can see below. An intense work of reflection that leads to an act of creation that transcends the horror to give it meaning.
Sensitive souls, beware. We love it.
