Fantasy Orientalist
Nicolas Gendron, also known as Kafarnaum, is an artist who has a style that furiously reminds me of a kind of fantasy that would come from the Middle East. With pastel colors of the most beautiful effect, his original creations are reminiscent of worlds close to Zelda, including Breath of the Wild.
The artist transports us into a universe filled with strange characters and creatures, mainly realized during character challenges. I think what fascinates me the most about Nicolas is that you can see his style evolve progressively when you browse his Instagram page. He is now getting closer and closer to a style that is his own and that I loved to see him develop more and more.
