Onis like no other
The Shikigami series was born from the creative spirit of Robert Chew. This collection of works explores Shintoism, the Yokai myth and Japanese cultural tropes through military science fiction and fantasy.
Quite simply, I have rarely seen a series of characters like this. Each new creation is accompanied by a presentation text on the Instagram page of the artist and allows a better understanding of the universe he is currently creating. One can imagine that his influences are going to search as well in Japanese mythology, as in works like Warhammer 40K. We are facing a very coherent creative whole and it is quite easy to imagine dozens of stories taking place in this universe and featuring these colorful characters.
