I love the graphic universe of Filippo Galdo! This Italian artist, passionate about medieval iconography, managed to find the missing link between the medieval style, all angles and profiles, and modern illustration. No doubt that if Lancelot du Lac had had the Adobe suite, he would have had a similar style… You will find below ambitious illustrations, around chivalry and medieval Japan, but also very accomplished and colorful character research. Colors beautifully used precisely, and which bring a real graphic atmosphere to the atmosphere, especially on the big battle scene.
