Aurélien Morinière began his studies in the artistic field by obtaining a diploma in drawing and layout. At the same time, he created the fanzine Terraforming and pursued his goal of making comics until his university studies made him take, temporarily, another route. During this period, comics gave way to abstract painting, minimalism, and large Land Art installations.
It is at the end of the university, when he had abandoned the idea of comics, that he returns to his first passions. There follows a sustained production with various publishers and various collaborations (Pointe Noire, Soleil, Mosquito, Emmanuel Proust, Glénat…) in various styles, from children’s comics to medieval epics, through graphic novels and science fiction.
