From graff to robots
Active since 2004, graffiti artist Clogtwo has developed his work by leaps and bounds. The Singaporean artist’s illustrations have acquired a unique personality by depicting comic book characters from a dark and gloomy cyberpunk perspective. In fact, he has named his creations Mechanical Souls.
He describes his concept this way:
The concept of cyborg or mechasoul stems from the Singapore society and the infrastructure system we live in. (…) The idea of human creativity and craft has been exhausted, making us similar and robotic.
This gives a depth to the whole of his work that we really don’t mind.
