Geek-Art an Anthology English Version Now Now On Sale !

Geek-Art une Anthologie est en vente aux USA depuis hier. Et dans d’autres pays anglophones, bien entendu, mais le fait que ce projet que je mène depuis quatre ans aboutisse à une édition au pays où est née la pop culture résonne particulièrement en moi. Et ce n’est pas n’importe quel éditeur US : Chronicle Books est un éditeur géant, et a toujours mis en avant sa collection dédiée à la pop culture. C’est donc un double honneur… Je suis particulièrement fier que Geek-Art soit devenu ce qu’il est aujourd’hui, en sachant que tout est parti, il y a quelques années, de quelques posts dédiés au travail de Bob Dob sur mon compte Facebook… Puis est arrivé le blog, et quelques années plus tard la sortie en livre de Geek-Art, les expos à Paris et Bruxelles… Et aujourd’hui la sortie de ce même volume 1 en Anglais, sans compter l’Alliance Rebelle de Geek-Art avec French Paper Art Club, et notre projet officiel dédié à Batman. C’est donc une très, très belle année, et je peux vous dire que j’ai encore pas mal de surprises en prévision pour vous. Mais tout cela n’aurait pas été possible sans mon éditeur français Huginn&Muninn, sans les artistes qui m’ont fait confiance pour créer ce portfolio géant dédié à leur art, et sans vous, bien entendu, fidèles de Geek-Art.net ! Encore une fois, ce n’est que le début. Mais quel début ! La conquête du monde est en route. Que la Force soit avec vous, Longue Vie et Prospérité, Géronimo, Allons-Y, et vive la pop culture !

Geek-Art, an Anthology, is now on sale in the United States. And in other English speaking countries of course, but the fact that this personal project I’ve been running for four years is now in bookstores in the country where pop culture was born is truly magic to me. And what a publisher : Chronicle Books is a giant, and always had a special connection with pop culture. I’m particularly proud to see what Geek-Art has become today, especially when you think that all began with a few posts on Bob Dob on my personal Facebook account. Then came the blog, the books, the art shows in Paris and Brussels, and of course the Rebel Alliance with French Paper Art Club, and our official Batman. So yeah, this is a very, very nice year for Geek-Art, and I still have lots of surprises for you… So I want to thank my French publisher Huginn&Muninn, all the artists that trusted me to create this giant portfolio dedicated to their art, and of course you, faithful readers of Geek-Art.net. It’s only a start. But what a start ! World conquest is on. May the Force be With You, Live Long and Prosper, Geronimo, Allons-y, and long live pop culture !
