Jason Edmiston – A Rogues Gallery @ Mondo Gallery

Mondo frappe encore ! Les fourbes. Toujours prêts à me donner envie de tout plaquer pour partir au Texas, histoire d’être toujours sur le coup pour leurs expos et leurs prints exclusifs qui disparaissent en 30 secondes. Bref, je vous avais parlé au mois de juillet de l’expo qu’ils préparaient autour de l’art de Jason Edmiston, un artiste référence du Geek Art et de la pop culture, un maître, le Rembrant du geekdom, tant on croirait que ses créatures sont sur le point de sauter de leur cadre pour nous écharper. Bref vous l’aurez compris, je suis fan du monsieur, et je vous invite à découvrir une bonne partie des oeuvres exposées à la galerie Mondo d’Austin jusqu’à la mi-septembre. Au programme, peintures, crayonnés, originaux et prints limités aux couleurs des plus grands méchants de l’histoire du cinéma. Enjoy !

Mondo strikes back, and again make me want to leave everything behind to settle in Texas, and to enjoy their exhibitions and limited prints more easily than here in Paris. Anyway I was talking to you earlier this month about their next show : A Rogues Gallery, the first solo artshow of the Grand Master Jason Edmiston. I mean, this guy is so talented, he’s like the Rembrandt of the Geekdom. You really think, by looking a long time at his art, that those bad guys are looking at you back and are going to get out of their frame and nicely slaughter you. You got it, I’m a big fan of Jason’s work, and I invite you to discover the art from his first solo artshow at Mondo Gallery, a tribute to the best worst characters of cinema. Enjoy !
