Grandir ? Pourquoi faire ?

Trois ans après la première exposition Mondo entièrement consacrée à Disney, en collaboration avec Cyclops Print Works, voici les deux entités de retour avec une exposition encore une fois exceptionnelle (sans aucun doute l’une des plus belles de l’année niveau Geek-Art, même si celle-ci est loin d’être terminée !), consacrée aux chef-d’oeuvre de Disney. Du Roi Lion à Aladdin, de la Petite Sirène à Lilo & Stitch, des 101 Dalmatiens à Bambi, Mondo prouve encore, s’il le fallait, que son travail de curation d’artistes est absolument fantastique. Ken Taylor, Nicolas Delort, Laurent Durieux, Becky Cloonan, Martin Ansin, Teagan White, Tom Whalen… Des artistes aujourd’hui renommés, dont les styles visuels éclectiques nous offrent des visions jamais vues encore des plus grands dessins animés de Disney.

L’exposition à la galerie Mondo d’Austin dure jusqu’au 13 mai, à partir de cette date, les prints restants (autant vous dire que la galerie est déjà dévalisée), tous en éditions limitées, seront par la suite mis en vente en ligne, et il faudra alors être le plus rapide à sortir son porte-monnaie pour vous procurer l’un de ces merveilles.
