Des Figurines, de la sculpture et de la pop culture
Lorsqu’on nous dit qu’une nouvelle exposition va avoir lieu à la Gallery 1988 et qu’elle sera composée de sculptures issues de la pop culture, on est forcément intrigué ! Pop Culture Sculptures a commencé le 6 Novembre et propose plus de 40 sculptures réalisées par une dizaine d’artistes différents, reprenant chacun des personnages ou des scènes cultes de notre culture favorite.
On retrouve notamment de nombreuse variation de Tyler Durden, personnage incarné par Brad Pitt dans Fight Club, des figurines reprenant les Simpsons en version réaliste ou bien encore des itérations autour de Jurassic Park. Toutes les créations sont plus originales les unes que les autres et nous font découvrir ou redécouvrir ces oeuvres sous un nouveau jour. N’hésitez pas à vous rendre sur le site de la Gallery 1988 pour admirer l’ensemble de l’exposition.
