Space Invader – In Space

The amazing French artist Invader invaded… Space. After having invaded big cities all around the world with his ceramic Space Invaders artworks for years, his next hd to be space ! So he sent one of his little fellows in the air thanks to a helium ballon equiped with a camera and a GPS. It’s been a 4 hours flight, and the balloon went 35 km above our heads… When the balloon finally exploded, he found the camera back thanks to the GPS. As simple as that ! Kudos to you Invader, the first artist who have organized an artshow in space ! The entire project will be shown in december during the AR Basel Miami Art Fair.

L’incroyable Invader a encore frappé et a envahit… L’espace. Après avoir envahit des dizaines de villes dans le monde avec ses petits Sapce Invaders en céramique, il s’est donc attaqué au coeur du problème : l’espace. Il a simplement accroché une des ses oeuvres à un ballon gonflé à l’hélium et équipé d’un appareil photo et d’un GPS. Après un vol de 4 heures, après s’être envolé à 35 km au-dessus de nos têtes, le ballon a finalement explosé, et il ne restait plus qu’à récupérer les photos grâce au GPS ! Bravo au frenchie Invader, qui est tout de même le premier artiste de l’histoire à avori organisé une exposition dans l’espace ! Le projet complet sera présenté en décembre, lors de l’Art Basel de Miami, la Foire annuelle dd’art contemporain.
