8 bit Painter is an American artist who developed a passion for pixel art. Most of his pieces are commissions he then sells on line via his deviantART account. At first glance, you may think that it is easy stuff (I remember playing with this kind of game when I was a kid, you had to use an iron to stick the little pieces of plastic together), but when you look closer you realize how precise and detailed his work is, and I can't imagine being patient enough to succeed in making this kind of art ! Il suffit de voir ses oeuvres, pour la plupart des commissions qu'il vend via sa galerie deviantART, pour le comprendre... A priori, on pourrait se dire qu'utiliser ce système de petits bouts de plastique que l'on chauffe ensuite au fer à repasser est facile (j'ai moi aussi fait des "oeuvres" de ce genre étant petit...) , mais à y regarder de plus près, on voit bien qu'il s'agit d'un travail d'orfèvre tout en détails et en patience !
