J’ai déjà beaucoup parlé dans Geek-Art de la géniale série de prints de Nick Derrington dédiés aux grands combats classiques des jeux vidéo. Après Mario, Zelda et Metroid, puis Doom, Castle Wolfenstein et Quake, voici venir The Legendary, ou le combat final de Pokémon contre le légendaire MewTwo !

Imprimé par l’équipe de Nakatomi, vous pourrez vous procurer cette sublime sérigraphie à partir d’aujourd’hui sur leur boutique. Nakatomi qui a fait un boulot d’impression génial, respectant en tous points le sublime trait de Nick Derrington. Pour info, les prints sont au format US 12×24 pouces (30,5x61cm), et signées par l’artiste. L’édition Regular vous coûtera 40$ et sera limitée à 125 exemplaires, et la version phosphorescente vous coûtera 60$, limitée à 75 exemplaires !

Back in 2015, Nick released the original BOSS FIGHT NES series as a Kickstarter project, which blew up SUPER BIG, and then followed it up in 2016 with another 3 print BOSS FIGHT set paying tribute to the games of ID software. And now he’s back with this follow up!

These look amazing in person- Nick has developed a really organic process of adapting his monochromatic color pencil work into screenprinting! Take a look at this detail shot of an actual print-

Prints measure 12×24, and are signed by Nick in limited first editions! Regular version is $40 and an edition of 125, and the glow edition is $60 in an edition of only 75!
